Well, I have worked in it, and I've seen companies say, "Yes, we are working
on our next version, and no, we can't give you a date yet." That might worry
some users, but Adobe's implication that there might not even *be* a next
version might worry them even more -- especially with what's happened to FM
for Mac. A little reassurance might be in order here.
Of course, you must never make a commitment that you can't back up. But if
you can't make any kind of commitment at all, it leaves a certain
impression.
