Put an invisible caption or bookmark invisible or trivial
text on the last page of the section. Put a cross-reference
to the page number of the caption or bookmark in the header
of each section, in place of the total number of pages
field.

Subject: Pagination in Word after Section Break
I have an SOP where I'm trying to restart new
pagination after a section break for the Revision
History page. I'm using the X of Y page numbering from
the toolbar and inserting it in the header field. The
first section appears to recognize the pages of the
second section and puts them in the field. Also, the
second section recognizes the previous section's pages
and does a "1 of 4" when it should be "1 of 1".
I came across a few instances of this in the archives,
and short of adding a macro, there doesn't appear to
be any solution to this bug. Any suggestions for Word
2000?
