Very true; then again, as an offshorer, I go that
extra mile, cross the seas of communication
barriers, to acquire domain and tech knowledge.
Ain't easy, sure, given my miserable language
skills, but acquire we do.

Couldn't agree more. But will add something: as
an offshorer, not being able to write very well
and walk in to a job on grounds of sound language
command, it makes a lot of sense for me and the
likes of me - to be focusing on subject
expertise, as someone put it once 'getting into
the guts of the product'
