Just a final thought on the matter that was discussed last week -

Bonnie, I noticed that you are located in Massachusetts. Massachusetts
has a *very* customer-oriented deceptive trade practices act (DTPA) as
part of their state legal code. (It's very favorable to the client under
practically every circumstance.) While I am not sure that taking your
customer to court would produce the results you were expecting, I do
think that you might want to consider the fact that in this particular
instance, *the client* could potentially sue *you* for DTPs - since they
were engaging your services, not vice-versa. And MA. law would most
likely side with the client even if you were the one who filed suit.

As others have noted, this was a good learning experience for you. LOL.
