Hi Dianna,
I'm no lawyer, but it's been my understanding that it is preferable to
update the date to show the range (e.g., 1999-2004) due to the way
copyright laws view the dates. It's also my understanding that the change
in company name is negligible, because corporate records would track the
various names for the same entity. However, as I said, I'm not a lawyer.
I'd defer to the a quick e-mail to the Legal department, if for no other
reason than a CYA.
