Hmmm... can't say I have ever had that experience. I know I do a
good job, and I know there are few -- if any -- within my company
who can do the job as well as I, and that's all that really matters. I
get kudos from the VP of engineering, the president, etc., for the job
I do -- that matters.
When you're feeling particularly proud of yourself, go back and pick
up a document that you wrote a year or two ago. Review it with a
critical eye. That should take care of your arrogance ;)
