Our company includes documentation in each build, as part of the actual
software media. From a sales standpoint, it's nice to be able to tell
customers that all documentation is current with each release, even point
releases. For the doc writers, it's a pain in the ass, allowing no real
code-freeze time to tweak the doc. I'm writing sales proposals now, so I
don't have to deal with it, but our lone doc writer gets a MAJOR workout!
