Re: Hiring a Technical Editor
It's hard to respond to a question like this without
seeing the original posting you made for an editor,
but unless you actually said something about being
"just a mere writer," the very fact that you were
posting possible work *should* have told those reading
that you *were* a potential employer and that they
should respond as if they were writing to one.
The really scary thought is, maybe they did.
