David asked:
* My first impulse is to put in a purchase order for Robohelp Office x5,
which I'm well used to -- can anyone advise on X5's JavaHelp capability,
specifically re: dialog-box level and (maybe) field-level context
sensitivity?
I used an early version (X3, I think) to do Oracle Help for Java in a
similar situation. RH did support field-level help, but the Java devs.
had problems opening them from the app. They were able to find the topics
and open them in a custom java pop-up box, which worked nicely. Their
scripting and the map file was a maintenance headache, as I recall.
No problems at all with dialog box help, tho.
