Not to put too fine a point on it, but any PDF security is pretty
unreliable. There are plug-ins for other readers (such as
Ghostscript/Ghostview) that easily circumvent security. There is no
guarantee that any reader other than Acrobat will actually pop up a
dialog as well, should you find a suitable plug-in.
