RE: ADD/ADHD Problems and Tech Writing/Editing Careers
Would be more than grateful to hear experiences from any other tech
writing/editing ADD or ADHD sufferers.
ADD/ADHD is not the end of the world, it just makes you look at the world differently. It is the main reason why I contracted for so many years -- I get bored way too easily.
A great book to read is "The Gift of Dyslexia" by Ronald D. Davis. ADD and ADHD are simply forms of dyslexia, a "learning difference," not a learning disability.
Check out Ron's website at www.dyslexia.com. He has providers internationally who teach people to succeed because of, not in spite of, dyslexia.
