Forgive me if this has been covered before, but this recurring problem is
driving me nuts.
Problem: When I open a chapter file from within a book file, i get this
error message:
"Document x uses unavailable fonts. To reformat with available fonts, click
OK."
The font that the document allegedly used that wasn't available was CG
Omega... which we actually DON'T USE in our documents (although there may be
some obsolete tag in our template that uses it, for all i know).
About a year ago, i got a "solution" from Adobe (or a Frame user group),
which was to open the file, select Preferences from the File menu, select
the Remember missing font names check box, then save and close the file.
This seemed to work AT FIRST... but now it either doesn't work at all, or
it'll work only until I save and close the book file... next session, its
back to the error message.
Anybody know a permanent solution to this?
many thanks in advance.
