How about a Techwr-L supporter... SnagIt.

Not sure of the capabilities of some of the other suggestions, but the ability
to set up SnagIt to automatically convert the screen capture on my 32-bit color
desktop to 256 color as it captures saves me a ton of time. That is just my
favorite feature, ther are many others. You can download a trial to give it a
spin.

I am very cheap, and try everything I can to not spend money (short of stealing
the software) and this was an easy purchase for me.

What do you guys use for application screenshots? I'm on Windows XP, and I
just need something quick and easy that lets me take a shot of a single
window. I could resort to Print Screen > Paint, but that's just too much of
a hassle.
