That doesn't explain why more people want to hear about tools than about time management or writing procedures.

If I'm running a supermarket and I sell 5 times as much junk food as vegetables, do I stock up on more vegetables in the hope my customers will start buying vegetables because they're good for them? Sure, I can work at educating them that they should eat more vegetables and less junk food, but that won't make them change their buying habits.

So if more people show up--and pay for--a FrameMaker presentation than one on demonstrating value to employers, what message does that send to the folks who schedule presentations?
