Karen asked:
>I haven't been on this list very long and I'm really surprised by the
intense dislike >several people have expressed for STC. Is there anyone
on this list that likes STC?
I have always wanted to ask this question too. I have seen members post
their grippes here and there, but in my opinion, nothing very
substantial.
I have been a member (student & regular) of STC for just under four
years, and really cannot think of anything to complain about other than
I would like more access to articles in the Intercom and TechComm
archives.
In my opinion (again), I believe the SIG's are adequate. Maybe STC could
offer one free with membership, then the fee for any more you want to
join.
If I had one real legitimate complaint, it would be more towards the
current chapter that I am in, but I am holding off because I am not
doing anything to contribute to the chapter.
