I've been a member of the STC
since 1988 or so. I'm one of those who
likes and appreciates what the STC offers.
Over the years, I've enjoyed and learned
from the STC's publications, attended
two national conferences, several chapter meetings,
and quite a few local networking lunches. This
year I'm helping with our local chapter's
newsletter. That's been a rewarding experience
so far.

Karen asked:
I haven't been on this list very long and I'm really surprised by
the intense dislike several people have expressed for STC. Is there
anyone on this list that likes STC?
