Subject:Missing Links in Robohelp using X5 From:"Rowles, Carol" <Carol -dot- Rowles -at- fnf -dot- com> To:"TECHWR-L" <techwr-l -at- lists -dot- raycomm -dot- com> Date:Tue, 10 Aug 2004 15:06:18 -0400
We recently upgraded from X3 to X5. We generate Winhelp 2000. When I
open the project through Robohelp, all of the links look fine. When I
run Active Check they are all there. However, when I create the .hlp
file, half of the links are gone and the text appears as regular text
with no underscores to indicate that it was supposed to be a link.
I was told by Macromedia that you cannot run X5 on a network without
Version Control. We don't use Version Control so I copied the entire
folder to my local, deleted the .rtf file, and still, half of the links
are gone.
Any ideas? I have 23 different projects and there are probably 1000
broken links. Also, the links are internal links to the same projects.
