Any help / advice will be gratefully receieved.
I am Using Word2002, Acrobat 5.0, WinXP, with 512MB RAM and over 6.5Gb of
Disk space.
The Document I have is 61 pages & 760kb with lots and lots of Xref,
Indexed and TOC fields.
When I attempt to print the doc as a pdf (have tried the various methods -
Print to ps file then distilled, convert to pdf, print to pdf, etc) the
progress box is shown and at 60% of 'scanning links' (details indicate
creation of XRef and TOC links) the following message is displayed:
"Word has insufficient memory. You will not be able to undo this action
once it is completed. Do you want to continue?"
My response is 'YES'
At 85% the same message is displayed illiciting the same response from me!
Then, as it just seems that I am going to get a pdf the whole thing hangs
on me (from the details it seems it just completed 'converting text boxes
to article threads' (of which I believe there are none)) and I have to
"End Task" and kill Word.
So, help please, any advice (except the most intelligent one..."Don't use
word") would make me a shiny happy person again.
