Hello Steve,
Greetings from Mumbai, India!
The Macro did not work for me in Word 2002 (Windows XP)! The error
message says:
Error 424
Object required
I am just trying to renumber a second numbered list. Can you tweak the
code a bit? Or is it that the code works only when the document
numbering is truly messed up and the Restart numbering button is
disabled.
BTW, I do not know VBA, so I have recorded a macro with keystrokes to
click the Restart Numbering option. It works. The code is not very
elegant and a bit longish so I am not pasting it here. Also, not sure
whether it will work in the truly messed up scenario.
