Hi,
We can disagree on the RH users thing--I found RHFM very easy for a
WWPer to pick up on, but I see the same mysteries in RHFM that a
traditional RoboHelpie would encounter when using WWP.
Preview in a WWP or RHFM environment is a gimmick; it's not
real-world. WWP and RHFM are all about setting up a template-based
workflow, so a preview might be useful if you don't know what you and
the app are doing during template development, but thereafter, for the
other 10 months out of the year, any preview matters not at all--just
apply your template, push the button, and pat yourself on the back for
the time, effort, resources, and cash you just saved your employer
*whilst* improving productivity.
Doesn't Veredus create good PDFs for the press guys? I've found the
press guys often don't really know or tell you what they need, but
admittedly have not tried to give them Veredus-based PDF. The PDFs I
distribute are Acrobat-based and are done "per Adobe " but I still
have some printers complain, because they really don't understand ....
What did the folks at Rascal say about your printers rejecting their
PDFs (Veredus uses a non-Adobe PostScripting process).
