Re: Updating Resume?

I apologize for the generalization. Of course it doesn't mean that not one
person in the world will read resumes that long.

It was a generalization based on personal experience, on extensive research
while developing my own resume, and on comments made in various discussion
groups (by managers and professional resume writers, among others) when the
subject of hiring or requests for resume help came up. It is becoming
conventional wisdom, especially in very competitive job markets--so I made
