Of course, VMWare will only allow you to capture the VMWare BIOS, which I think is based on the Phoenix BIOS.

If you need an exact representation of the BIOS on your machine, VMWare won't give it to you. Instead, I think you will have to manually recreate it somehow. Taking pictures with a digital camera and running it through OCR might save a bit of time, but you will still have to do a lot by hand.
