TechWhirl (TECHWR-L) is a resource for technical writing and technical communications professionals of all experience levels and in all industries to share their experiences and acquire information.
For two decades, technical communicators have turned to TechWhirl to ask and answer questions about the always-changing world of technical communications, such as tools, skills, career paths, methodologies, and emerging industries. The TechWhirl Archives and magazine, created for, by and about technical writers, offer a wealth of knowledge to everyone with an interest in any aspect of technical communications.
We're delighted to announce that, after 11 1/2 years with TECHWR-L, Deb
and Eric are actually now stepping back from daily involvement with the
TECHWR-L site and mailing list. It's been a tremendously rewarding,
educational, and challenging time for us, and a great pleasure to have
been involved in something as remarkable as this community.
Lisa Bronson will assume the responsibility for keeping the Web site and
mailing list going--she'll also be the one to send out those ADMIN
messages and keep everything on track. We've spent a great deal of time
over the past several months working on transition issues and concepts,
and we're very confident that Lisa is the one to take TECHWR-L to the
next level...all the cool stuff that we've been thinking and talking
about, but haven't ever actually gotten to--she'll get to it.
