Well, there are those who ask the question who are looking for how the
reply is formulated, and then those who ask the question because it
sounds like a good question to ask.
It's a play on GIGO (garbage in, garbage out)... the managers who are
well-prepared and know what they are doing will always get better
interview results.
And, as a hiring manager, I can tell you that I treat every interview
as both a recruiting venture AND a learning experience. No, I'm not
looking to pick you rbrain for nuggets you know, but I'm looking to
learn how to best prepare for future interviews.
