Oops, should have specified "in ounces of water" on that, sorry. A 185 lb
man should drink about 92.5 ounces of water a day. Your kidneys start
working really well, and you do have to continue to take in salt so the
sodium/potassium balance is maintained. Most people won't bother getting up
to that level as it takes a fair bit of conscious effort to drink all that
water, and also replace water lost to diuretics (coffee, colas, alcohol).
Increasing water intake should improve a range of different health problems,
though.

115 pounds of water a day? That's over 13 gallons (8.34/gallon) per
day. Don't you run into other problems, like salt/potassium depletion
and kidney issues?
