I lied, I'm not going away.
I've gotten permission to start doing more work on capturing our training
and discussions.
For one-to-one discussions, and small training sessions, I have a tape
recorder with a decent microphone that does "good enough."
But it's not really good enough for training sessions. One of the
trainers suggested that the mike on his laptop is quite good - although I
don't find the quality wonderful.
One of the programmers really likes to use his IRiver digital recorder -
small, discrete, and capable of capturing a couple of hours of work.
Again, the quality is decent, but nothing to write home about.
I'm wondering about more professional-level equipment.
Does anyone have any experience with capturing digital audio, perhaps for
re-use in CD or DVD presentations, and has the time to share?
Thanks
