So after this jaunt around the bush my point is that
lots of ‘real’ folks that would (probably) qualify
should they so choose, don’t need to for a variety of
reasons as outlined above.
Well, yeah. If everyone who qualified joined, Mensa (not an acronym, doesn't require all caps) would have 5.9 million members in the US alone, a third more than the NRA. Now THAT would be an interesting lobbying group ;-) There's a SNL skit in here somewhere. Is it Friday yet?
