I know that there's the STC for the US. And there are some national European associations which
have an umbrella organisation, the TCeurope (http://www.tceurope.org). The UK associations ISTC is
also a member.
But how about other English-speaking countries? Do Canada, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand etc.
have their own asscociations or are the writers there members in other countries?
I'm asking because I'm thinking about getting some experience abroad (in the next 2 to 5 years)
and English is the only language other than German that I'm at least half-way competent.
