At the risk of offending non-religious people, I have to say that
David's last sentence is downright Biblical.
Proverbs 15 (NLT)
1 A gentle answer turns away wrath,
but harsh words stir up anger.
David's right because what you say can be taken completely differently
depending on your way of saying it. Isn't that some of what tech writing
is all about? How you deliver something (not just the words that you
say) can make people think that it's something worth reading or
something to ignore.
You didn't know that technical writing could be Biblical, did you? :-)
Have a nice day!
Donna
