I vaguely remember a product called "Turgify" or something like that. The product name should be indicative. As I recall, you would scan in some minimum quantity of writing from a specific publication, and it would establish an understanding of that writing style. Then you could run your text through it and it would somehow make your text conform to that style. As I recall, they used Omni magazine for one example (does that date the product?), and I forget what else - maybe Highlights? I googled for Turgify and got nothing - either I'm way off on the name, or it just doesn't exist anymore.
