"Take a look at Mif2Go (www.omsys.com). It can generate your HTML
directly from the FrameMaker files."
Thanks for the advice David. What's the advantage of using this over the
bundled Web Works Publisher?

Is the upgrade to Web Works Publisher Professional worth it anyone?

/John

We use Word and (mostly now) FrameMaker to create User Guides.
>From these guides, we use Dreamweaver to create standalone HTML files
that link directly to corresponding GUI pages.

We've now been asked to create HTML help that is searchable, has an
Index and works on different operating systems (Windows, Mac, Linux
etc).

My research has pointed to RoboHelp and Web Works Publisher. Web Works
Publisher Standard comes bundled with FrameMaker but I'm told the
Professional edition is needed for um, well, more "professional" help. I
would just like to ask tech writers of their experiences using RoboHelp
and Web Works Publisher or if indeed another tool could be recommended
for this task.

Many thanks.
John
