>I was just wondering about your backgrounds and
>training in T.W.
>I have a few questions:
>Where did you go to school?
Well, I could give you the name of my high school ...
The Navy's Nuclear Planner course is probably the
closest thing to formal training that I have.
>What was your major?
See above. "Life"? ;)
>How did you end up in this industry?
Writing nuclear repair procedures that needed to
distill a room full of documents, manuals, and drawings
down to a binder that people on the worksite could
follow, without violating any requirements, hurting anybody,
or breaking anything else. Oh yeah, and that actually
would accomplish the work. Tricky ...
I quickly realized upon getting out that the writing
part had way more opportunity than the nuclear part.
>Does its future look bright?
I certainly hope so ... I've also developed some web
skills, and a little programming skill along the way.
You never know what's going to happen, but
analyzing things and breaking them down into steps
or other discrete components will always be a useful
skill.
