Printer/Copier and Binding

Hello,

I am the publications dept. for a smallish engineering firm in Germany. We
produce and ship our own product documentation (and other relevant
publications). Our current procedure (which I'd like to revise) is to print
a "good" copy of each document, file this copy, then copy the copy as needed
to ship to customers.

Our dept. printer is dying and I have a good opportunity to suggest buying
another printer and so update our publications. Can anyone suggest a
reliable, cost-effective printer/copier that can do the following:

print on DIN A4 and DIN A3 (European size) paper?
make double-sided copies (without having to reload the paper)?
withstand our "normal" office use (100 - 150 single copies a day) in
addition to printing several 10 - 20 page documents each week?

desirable (but not absolutely necessary):
color capability
collating, stapling

I'm also looking for a machine/process by which I can bind our
documentation. I like the wire bindings (we're currently using a glue/heat
method that leaves much to be desired). Any suggestions?
