Cannot say anything about how to get the Hackos you mention. But I
mention this book title because the book seemed really good. I just
finished a techcomm 2 course that used it. It might be too elementary
for your purpose, don't know. But it seems to be detailed enough for
people to use as a general guide in doing what you have to do.
It's 'HT Communicate Technical Information' (A Handbook of Software and
Hardware Documentation) by Price and Korman. Addison-Wesley, 1999 (5th
printing), ISBN 0-805-36829-9.
