Re: Gmail for Tech Writing
Think INside the box. Keep your eye on the donut hole.
The companies that dislike off-site storage are gonna re-organize
every two years. They know what there doing, so why would we want to
work for them?
Even more important, the company that invents WMD-Apes is gonna
explode. That's why we need the docs off-site. We'll still have the
systems, but not the tech support people. Google will back this thing
up. Still a lot of work to do, but we're in it for the long haul.
Huh?
I don't mean to be rude, but I only have a hazy idea of what you are trying to say.
However, it sounds to me as though you're saying three things:
- It's new, so it must be kewl.
- Worrying about security or a company's responsibility to preserve its data is unkewl.
- Not having tech support on site is kewl, too.
OK, I admit that I may be just mildly flippant. However, if these paraphrases are even remotely correct, they all seem questionable assumptions to me - not necessarily or always wrong, but definitely not ones to follow blindly.
