This sounds like a very small startup, and the "FDA consultant"
mentioned tells me that the person hired won't actually be "writing"
anything, just doing some typing and editing.  My guess is that
they're looking for someone who'll be willing to do some low-level
grunt work in hopes of someday accumulating enough experience
to move into a specialized writing position and the position is just
some form of title inflation for now.  Either that, or they've been 
snorting their reagents.
