I didn't see that in the particular comment I read. Perhaps he said
it elsewhere. As it turns out, some messages were misfiled, so I
saw the original only later. However, Stuart's original comment is
what John responded to, and was:
"Working to the development schedule and planning are necessary
but not sufficient attributes for successful tech writing."
John's comment, which was the following, just doesn't seem to
address what Stuart actually said.
"Huh? I could produce the greatest deliverabvle ever seen, but if
it
doesn't get done until 24 hours after development has it going out
the door, it's a doorstop."
