I am glad that someone said this because I didn't really want to be the one
that did. I have a skewed view from where I stand (My employer is a
localization vendor) and my opinion may not carry much weight on the subject
(understandable, I don't ask the hotdog guy if the hamburger place across
the street is any good). Thanks Cassandra =)
Everything that Cassandra has pointed out is true. I have even heard of
legal ramifications resulting from poor localization from the likes of
machine translation. (hence the "legal concerns out the wazoo" statement).
Just be careful of using such things when the cost of a "lost in
translation" is high.
