OmniGraffle is an *excellent* product, but its Visio compatibility is
overstated and limited to Visio 2003 XML -- and the files are huge. I
haven't tested the interchange to Visio (don't have 2003), but doubt
many folks are going back and forth.
OmniGroup's claimed Visio compatibility shouldn't be taken as a selling
point. Nevertheless, OmniGraffle is a very fine tool. Use it for
composition, but your bridges to the outside world are still limited to
bitmaps.
