technical writer? Are you doing something that other writers or companies
haven't even thought about? Are you breaking new ground or taking risks?>
I don't know what counts for innovation but i am doing couple of things
which atleast I have not seen.
1. I wrote the help (nothing great) for installation of my company's product
which included ASCII diagrams and diagrams change according to the selction
made by the user i.e. online. I think it is bit different bec' it is done
through command line and not graphics. It completely eliminates the need of
Network Engineer for installation. Ultimate goal is to make a interactive
installation through command line.
2. Keeping track and analyzing the user queries and solutions provided by
Customer and Network support Engineers in order to help customers in better
manner and trying to reduce the overheads generated by constant online/visit
followups. This is done by preparing the exhaustive repository of the
solutions.
