Up here in Canada, we fill out timesheets because of tax credits. Any work
on new development (software research and development) including
documentation-related work, is eligible for substantial government tax
credits (SRED claims). Typically, companies like credits :) To submit these
claims, you have to provide very detailed time reporting. So, whether you
are a contractor or a full-time employee, you're looking at the drudge of
filling out a timesheet.

Of course, now that I am a contractor, my life is all about timesheets. Have
to keep track of those wonderful billable hours.

Leanne
