Partly out of curiousity, partly because I'm going to do online-help
somewhen in the future:
What do you want from an online-help/-assistance? From the point of view of
the user and from the
point of view of the author?
What's great about existing system? What's still missing? What would your
*ideal* system be like?
If you have any examples/references, that would be great too!
Quick access to problem answers, good overviews, summaries, details when you
need them and where you expect them, tutorial to lay things out, rational
TOC, helpful index, like the example at http://www.hytext.com/iwiki/ for
WikiWriter's help file.
Disclaimer: I wrote the WikiWriter help files. I also wrote the WikiWriter
software itself. And I wrote this message, too.
