Re: Job change issue
Before I take
this contract, should I tell my potential new manager at company No 2
about my history there, should I take the contract, or should I turn the
job down and not provide a reason?
You really have to ask? As soon as your old manager finds out you are there--and have no doubt that s/he will--and springs a surprise on your new manager, you will be toast. If you really want this job, inform your soon-to-be manager immediately. The story of your previous employment WILL be told; your only option is to control whose version reaches your potential manager first.
