I considered all those things and investigated. It was not my work or personality and it didn't happen to just me, they did the same to another writer that had been there for three years. We both work for the same contracting company. They said they would give letters of recommendation or whatever we wanted. They also told my company they wanted a certain rate and my company would not go for it. I would not have gone for it either because it would work out to about 15 dollars and hour.
They already have some less experienced people lined up to interview AND there is an Indian writing company on one of the sites that they are sending work to. The Indian Writers are here on L1B visas and working right near my home. Some other work is being sent to India. That's undercutting American jobs but it's also a different issue.
That is the deal...the company posted a net profit of about 1.2 billion last year.
