Bill,
My take on whether or not I'd apply for such a job would depend on
several things:
1 When I started I'd certainly have been interested. Maybe not ideal
but all experience is good and it could be a stepping stone to something
better. If it didn't work out I could always look around for something
better.
2 Currently it would depend on my circumstances - how bad I needed the
work If things were really bad then I'd go for it. It could be a
stop-gap until something better came along or 'I' could make it better
by demonstrating my worth, benefit to the company etc.
3 Pay - as (2), if the pays OK and the job doesn't suck I don't care
what they call me! And there's the possibility of making it a 'better'
job.
