Hi Bill,
If you have a position to fill and won't fill it because nobody meets your
inflexibly high standards (we're talking about rejecting candidates
because of minor problems with their resumes), how are you getting
anything done?
My standards for technical writers are based on delivering high quality
documentation quickly. With that in mind, I'll gladly hire a flawed writer
who is competent, hardworking, and willing to learn, rather than waiting
for a brilliant and innovative candidate who may never appear.
