Tell you the truth, Chris, it's been so long since there was a
shortage of qualified applicants for tech writing positions that
I'm not sure I remember how to deal with one. At the very least,
I'd expect the candidates not to make any *more* errors in their
applications and resumes than I make in an unedited
stream-of-conciousness email. :)
But to answer your question seriously, I might not reject out of
hand, but the resume with errors would definitely go to the bottom
of the pile. It would, I suspect, ultimately depend on how minor the
errors were and how many of them there were.
