Subject:Date field in Word From:John Posada <jposada01 -at- yahoo -dot- com> To:"TECHWR-L" <techwr-l -at- lists -dot- techwr-l -dot- com> Date:Mon, 16 May 2005 13:05:28 -0700 (PDT)
Hi, guys...my developers have a habit of using the system "date"
field on document covers. When they do this, the date updates at any
time in the future when the document is openned, even if the document
is old and obsolete.
I want to tell them to use "CreateDate" instead.
However, if they insist on using "Date", can that field be locked
before deploying by using Ctrl-F11 to lock the field?
