A related question... If the document was created a while back & the
date field was never frozen, can you find out the actual last-saved
date? I look in document properties, but this information seems
unreliable at best...

Subject: Date field in Word
Hi, guys...my developers have a habit of using the system "date"
field on document covers. When they do this, the date updates at any
time in the future when the document is openned, even if the document is
old and obsolete.
