The problem with referencing only by section title is that when you
have a volume that has several hundred or several thousand pages,
you'll go loony trying to find where that section is.
In the case of my x-reference format, yes, it is long. However, it is
that way because I have multiple chapters in a book and I start from
page one in each chapter. I could use something like 3-1 instead of
using the name of the chapter, except I have 10 volumes and each
volume will have at least three chapters, some four or five. If I was
to use 3-1, there might be the confusion of "which" 3-1.
